The New Year brings about 2 new Intel procies. The Intel Core i3 and mobile Core i5 processors are slated to be out by January 7 of next year, 2010. The Intel Core i5 processor is said to be quad-core, the 2 new processors are just dual-core but even if they are, Intel has added an extra: integrated GPU cores for both processors.
The said GPU cores are being dubbed as Intel HD Graphics. The said GPU cores are good enough for regular use but manufacturers can still add their own discrete GPUs.
The Arrandale chips come packed with Intel's hyperthreading technology and that the mobile core i5 has the same feature as the core i5 and i7: Turbo Boost core-overclocking.
