After making that move from Windows XP and Vista, you probably didn't expect how the new Jumplist functionality works on the new Windows 7 OS. In Windows 7, the windows taskbar is no longer referred to as the "taskbar" but the "Superbar" and for some, not seeing the Quick launch buttons is a first.
Now would it or wouldn't it be convenient to have the same old quick launch buttons on the "Superbar"? To all of us, the jumplist is something new, like the introduction of the ceramic plate after the paper plates. And maybe to the majority, having been used to see and use the quick launch buttons is better.
Enter the JumpLaunch application software. This is your ticket to enjoying that "old school" Windows functionality.
The program is easy to use. First of course, download the file (hosted at jumplaunch.codeplex.com). CLICK HERE to start the download.
*Unzip the file in any location you choose
*Run the program and pin it onto your taskbar/superbar
*Start adding those .lnk files or program shortcuts
As easy as that.
