Windows 7: Changing the Logon Screen

The Windows Logon Screen has been made available since Windows XP's launch. Now in Windows 7, customizing or changing the logon screen is now made easy with Tweaks.com Logon Changer.

Changing the logon screen before required someone with .DLL file knowledge to change a couple or so files. Most of the time it also required that you know which folder and in what location you needed to change files.

With the introduction of logon changing tools like Logon Loader(widely used for windows XP), logon screen customization has been easier.

You can actually change the logon screen in 2 ways. 1, through the logon changer, which simplifies everything that you need to edit by letting the program itself to do the tweaking for you  and 2, by manually editing the registry, file and folders.

To accomplish everything in 1 go, click here to download the file directly. If you prefer to perform the change manually, you can follow the tutorial made by Rafael here.

As a safety precaution, please make sure that your images/backgrounds do no exceed 256KB  (Microsoft set limitation) so that the software does not reject the change.
