Dirt 2 Out Now!! Featuring the new DirectX11




Gaming with visually stunning graphics, car and environment reflections, almost realistic imagery and the new DirectX 11 make up Colin McRAE Dirt 2. Codemasters has done it again and for this game's newest installment, gamers can now immerse themselves in more "high graphics" gaming.

Closing out 2009 with Codemaster's second serving of Colin McRAE, we can now take a look at how DirectX 11 change the gameplay on video games especially on the PC platform.


DirectX 11 improves the following aspects:


  • Tesselation
  • Multi-threaded rendering
  • Computer shaders
DirectX 11 increases a number of factors particularly the rendered amount of polygons and the amount of shaders present which contributes to the overall performance and quality of DirectX compatible games.
