iMac 27" All-in-One Shipping Delays and Graphics Issues

Apple has delayed shipment of their new iMac 27 inches. Some say it's due to the high volume of orders. iMac's online store changed shipping times from '5-7 days' and '7-10 days' to 2 weeks.
A Canadian Web Designer, Scott Pronych, created a tracking site after he received his own iMac 27 inch with a shattered screen. Aside for the delay issues, other users have also encountered display problems in the form of flickering screens. Apple has not yet confirmed as to what is causing the issue and that the issue could also be one of the reasons for the shipping delays.
Some online retailers like Amazon provide shipping of the product between '1-2 months' while the guys at ClubMac will have their stocks coming in by 'the end of the month'.
