Seagate will be unveiling their new line of hard drives in the form of the Momentus Thin. These hard drives are expected to be unveiled at CES some time in the next few weeks. The said drives are said to be less expensive than most of their 1.8 inch counterparts.
Momentus Thin hard drives will come in at 160GB and 250GB capacities with 8mb of cache, 5400rpm and SATA 3Gbps transfer speeds/interface.
Because of their being 'thin', they can soon be set up into the Atom D410/D510-based notebooks. They will be shipped to OEM's and partners by next month. No specific price tag has been provided as of date.
