New Processors: The AMD-Intel Match Up
AMD is launching a new pair of processors as well as Intel with their G6950 Clarkdales. AMD provides the computer/processor market with the Phenom II x2 555 and the Athlon II x4 635. Both companies are targeting the $100 market.

Intel Processors: Out Comes the Core i3
The Core i3 is clocked at 2.93GHz. No Turbo modes and has 4MB of L3 Cache shared between 2 cores. The Core i3 530 would run as low as 1.33GHz but no more than 2.93GHz.
For the overclocking and gaming community, the Intel Core i3 can be overclocked up to 4GHz on a stock cooler.

Search Using The Office Ribbon
Office 2007 introduced the 'Ribbon' toolbar which either made things a bit difficult for most of us who got used to the plain old toolbars of its predecessors (2003, XP, 2000, etc.). Microsoft Office Labs gives us an easier way to 'search' those different Office 2007 tasks.

Seagate unveils their USB 3.0 entry in the form of the Blackarmor PS110 external hard drive. It comes with its own "performance kit" comprise of a 500GB HDD (2.5inches running at 7200rpm), power cable and an ExpressCard USB 3.0 adapter. Announced last month, this external HDD is up for grabs now at $179.99.
